Chinese artist Yan Lingxian is known for her oil paintings, wall paintings, and ceramics.  Inspired by hyper-realism, classical oil paintings and traditional Chinese culture, she's works have delicate brushwork and romantic style.  Her series "Blooming Out Of The Iron Chain" 2023  shows the social and psychological problems of women that she has been concerned about and has been troubled for a long time. She is committed to showing her criticism, struggle and resistance to society through her painting

在她加拿大游学七年里，期间跟换了五个城市，呆的最久的就是号称小巴黎的蒙特利尔。曾学习过服装设计和时尚营销，最后在她最熟悉的纯艺专业毕业。她很喜欢喜欢中国传统文化，也喜欢欧洲古典油画，在安大略省千岛湖居住的这两年里，逐渐找到了自己绘画的风格，在她的油画作品《铁索下的花盛开在牢笼外》系列中保留了古典油画的笔触以及中式水墨的构图。与油画风格类似，受文艺复兴时期雕塑作品影响，她的把雕塑元素融入到陶瓷作品中且保留了中式水墨的结构，在布鲁克维尔小镇大受欢迎。
